Welcome to Eventus (“we,” “our,” or “us”). Eventus is a digital wedding planning platform registered in Nigeria that connects couples with event vendors and provides tools for managing budgets, guest lists, vendors, cultural elements, and event logistics.

By accessing or using https://app.eventus.cc (the “Platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement to use Eventus.

2. Account Registration

To use certain features, you must create an account as either a Couple/User or a Vendor. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information.
  • Keep your login credentials secure.
  • Accept responsibility for all activity under your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that contain false information or violate these Terms.

3. Services Provided

Eventus provides:

  • Wedding planning and organization tools.
  • A digital marketplace connecting couples with vendors.
  • Communication and scheduling features.

Eventus does not directly provide wedding services and is not a party to any agreement between couples and vendors.

4. Vendor Responsibilities

Vendors agree to:

  • Provide truthful business information.
  • Comply with all applicable Nigerian laws and regulations.
  • Deliver services as agreed with couples.

Eventus does not guarantee vendor performance and is not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of services.

5. Fees and Payments

Eventus may:

  • Facilitate payments between couples and vendors.
  • Charge listing fees, subscription fees, or transaction commissions to vendors or users, as disclosed on the Platform.

Eventus is not liable for refunds, cancellations, chargebacks, or disputes between users and vendors except as required by Nigerian law.

6. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the Platform for unlawful or fraudulent purposes.
  • Post misleading, abusive, or harmful content.
  • Attempt unauthorized access to systems or accounts.

7. Intellectual Property

All Platform content, branding, and software are owned by Eventus or its licensors and may not be copied or reused without written consent.

8. User Content

You grant Eventus a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use content you upload for Platform operations and marketing.

9. Disclaimer

The Platform is provided “as is.” Eventus makes no guarantees regarding uninterrupted service or vendor outcomes.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Eventus is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for disputes between couples and vendors.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify Eventus against claims arising from your use of the Platform or violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms or applicable laws.

13. Dispute Resolution

Any dispute arising from these Terms shall first be resolved through good-faith negotiation or mediation. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to arbitration in Nigeria under applicable arbitration rules. Litigation shall be a last resort.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
